Mountain Brook Design is a sole proprietorship held by JoAnne Bousquet and operated out of her beautiful mountainside home. Being a home based business; overhead is low which means lower cost to our clients in comparison to what a large design firm may charge.

Being a creative individual, JoAnne started Mountain Brook Design in 1999 after 1 1/2 years of learning the ins and outs of the world wide web. At this time many individuals within our area were new to the internet and JoAnne saw a need for a local business to provide website design services. Through many hours of research and through trial and error, JoAnne designed several "static" websites and produced them on the web. She asked for feedback from friends, family, and those in the business industry. It was with their encouragement JoAnne started Mountain Brook Design.

About JoAnne

Professional Background:
JoAnne graduated high school in 1988 with a business/clerical diploma and the thought of a career in graphic design in her future. She won two art contests in high school; one for the design of a new guidance department letterhead and the other for the design of the brochure for our senior baccalaureate.

While in high school JoAnne worked with the elderly and retained what was at that time called a "certified nursing certificate" through the State of NH. She worked for three years as a nursing assistant and decided nursing would be her selected career.  After starting secondary school, she changed her major to paralegal and business management.

JoAnne's work experience has included nursing assistant (3 years), receptionist in a law firm (2 years), school secretary (2 years) and an administrative assistant within a medical facility before starting Mountain Brook Design.

On a Personal Level:
JoAnne has two daughters and has been actively involved with their schooling and extra curricular activities. Having coached softball for 7 years and cheerleading for 5, JoAnne enjoys working with children very much.

Besides spending quality time with family and friends, JoAnne's hobbies and extra curricular activities include reading, photography, hiking, camping and snowmobiling.
